Looking for a stock intake manifold for a 96-98 mustang cobra with the DOHC 4.6 engine. If you have one for sale or know of someone that does, let me know. Thanks

Worth a try. We`re all gear heads. You really never know if the honda guys might know someone that runs mustangs. There`s actually more than just 4 mustang guys here. You, Keesor, Danny Goff, Ryan, Mike, Jay, Seevers, and obviously myself are usually on here. A few of the honda guys are converted stangbangers.

Just called my friend up. He said he only knows of a couple ported ones. He is going to see what he can find. There is a couple laying around the shop but he thinks they are both ported too.

He called me back. He can get one that has a little port work to it. Mainly the guy just started cleaning it up a bit. Then he also has a Mark VIII intake, lower, throttle body, etc.

How much for the intake that he started porting? I wanted it to replace the 93-95 mark VIII intake that is on the engine I have.

Not sure, he said its nothing professional. He just tried it himself. He said the runners are ok.

He is calling him to see how much he wants for it. He also has the lower too. But my friend said the he has a throttle body and fuels rails if you need them. He is not sure if you can use the ones from the Mark VIII.
He said the guy started to port the intake himself and decided he couldnt do it and stopped. So he thinks it wont effect anything.
I will get back with you as soon as he calls.

Thanks Ryan. From what I read on the internet, the fuel rails would work with a little tweaking. It would be better to have the stock cobra, though. TB would be nice too, but not absolutely necessary. I plan on using the mark IMRC`s, because they`re vacuum operated not cable. I may just gut them anyway.
