I think the reason he posted this, was to do them all @ once in a big batch.
Would cost less for a bigger batch and he would have less time w/prep/cleanup.

My thoughts exactly. I hate painting just one or two small pieces at a time.

As others have stated. I'd like to do a bunch at once for anyone who wants it done. The sooner I can get them the better and I can get them prepped and ready. I plan on having them done for who ever after March 3. I will need them by the 26th. That way I should have enough time to prep what I need to and spray over the weekend.

Brad, are you going to be in town, or do we need to bring them to you?
If so, where do you live?

No. I started on them asap when I got off work friday. Then got up this morning at 5:30 and started sanding and buffing. I only got one left that I'm dragging my feet on...and it's yours. lol

Turned out nice. So this is done with a tint in the clear? What do I buy to add to ppg concept 2002? I might try this sometime later. Did you have to scuff the lights to make the clear adhere? This should work to smoke headlights if not much tint is added, right?

Sure is quite a coincidence that you have all these taillights laying around to spray after that crazy ricer took everyones lights..... If I didn't know any better..... Lol
Hmm...It is strange. I suppose they are pretty lucky that the ricer didn't bust them up.

Thanks. I used a red scotch brite pad to scuff up the lights. As to what you will need to work with ppg i don't know. You could very easy smoke headlights as well. That is one thing that I would shun away from though. If you wanted an eyebrow or a painted pattern that wouldn't be so bad. I assume your headlights are pretty good if you want to tint them. For me the tint would not be noticible if you went with an amount that the headlights were still usable.

Omni is just a cheap brand that is made by ppg. Whatever tint you used with omni will be compatible with ppg. What do you do, just mix in a small amount of black basecoat?
